Through the Louisiana Business Group on Health (LBGH), our organization lobbies to protect employers from legislation and regulation that unnecessarily increases health care costs. In addition, LBGH represents employers on the Louisiana Health Care Commission, the Legislative Task Force for the Working Uninsured and the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum. When invited, LBGH testifies in the legislature on behalf of employers as well as in congress. LBGH has developed a "10 Point Plan" to bring about health care reform in Louisiana by bolstering the employement-based system of health coverage.
